JOB DESCRIPTION:

Playbasis (Thailand) Co Ltd is currently looking for a creative, articulate, versatile, and professional Content Marketing Manager to develop marketing materials primarily for enterprise buyers (B2B), and secondly for millennial consumers (B2C). We are looking for someone to serve as the Playbasis Editor-in- Chief and to take ownership of scheduling and producing a pipeline of informative and educational content around various topics and themes such as Gamification, Mobile Engagement, Omnichannel Commerce, Gen-Y in the workforce, and other related trends across the evolving digital landscape. The ideal candidate will be comfortable producing content across a variety of digital formats and platforms for both B2B and B2C audiences. Brand/Agency veterans are welcome, but should be ready to adapt to a tech startup environment. This is an excellent opportunity to be a leading voice at an industry-defining startup.

  • You will develop content for messaging strategies, product content, thought leadership, webinars, white papers, social media, customer case studies, app store descriptions, email newsletters, landing pages, video, and other marketing collateral.

  • You will utilize your research and analysis skills to generate market study reports, powerpoints, infographics, and blogs on an ongoing basis in to attract site visitors through search, social, and email subscribers.

  • You will grow our follower/subscriber base across our various owned channels by providing them regular, helpful content that is in-tune with their needs.

  • You will manage the company’s social media presence on a daily basis, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, SlideShare, Instagram, and potentially others (LINE, etc.)

  • You will listen and engage in relevant social discussion about our company and the gamification and mobile engagement industries

  • You will manage SEO for our content to maximize visibility of content.

  • You will manage many projects simultaneously, operate with minimal supervision, and make educated judgment calls in support of the company mission.

  • You will support external events, hackathons, tradeshows, speaking engagements, industry conferences and other activities with social media coverage. Coverage may be remote or onsite, requiring travel.

  • You will coordinate with our Visual Design team to produce key visuals, screenshots, and video graphics in order to make our content appear visually appealing and on-brand.

  • You will work with our Sales / Business Development teams to ensure that key messaging and communications are consistent across our interactions with customers.

  • You will act as a consultant to our large enterprise customers who will look to you to provide expertise and guidance as they launch their mobile and digital engagement strategies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS degree in communications, journalism, marketing or equivalent working experience in one of these areas

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills and the research required to source the proof points, data points or research necessary to ensure content is credible, informative, helpful, interesting and shareable.

  • 3-5 years of experience in content creation, brand journalism or a comparable area.

  • Past experience producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (blog, SlideShare, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

  • Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with minimal direction.

  • Past experience building audiences either online or offline.

  • A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.

  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills; bonus points for bilingual or trilingual fluency.

  • Ability to quickly contribute to a fast-paced, rapidly growing tech startup.

  • Have a work hard, play hard attitude with ambition and the ability to scale.
